Event: Prerelease for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Time: 6 - 10 pm  Space is limited, contact The Sanctum if you are running late; reservations not checked in by 6 pm without prior notice will be cancelled and automatically refunded to allow waitlisted or walk-in players the opportunity to participate in this event.

Price: $50 + tax due at reservation per participant

Note: The fee is for the event.  If you are not able to attend, your fee will be refunded.

Age: 14+ (players younger than 14 must receive permission from management prior to reservation)

Description: Magic: The Gathering gets a quadruple dose of mutagenic mayhem as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make their debut on the battlefield! Collect, construct, and combat with an iconic roster of allies and enemies from four decades of time-tested Turtle-mania. Get the drop on Shredder's goons with the all-new sneak mechanic, then enhance your team's strength with Mutagen tokens to rise triumphant like the true heroes of New York! Each Prerelease Kit contains 6 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Boosters, 1 traditional foil rare/mythic rare card, and 1 Spindown™ life counter.

Starting at 6PM,  players will be given up to 45 minutes to construct their 40 card minimum deck from their prerelease kit. No trading allowed.  Then three Swiss matched rounds of up to one hour each will be played.

Prizes will be awarded at the end of competition: 1 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster to each player for participation, 1 Play Booster for the victor of each round, and 1 additional Play Booster to each player that is undefeated.

This is not a teaching event.  Familiarity with basic rules of Magic the Gathering is encouraged.

Supplies Needed: Prerelease Kits will be handed out at the beginning of the event, and supplemental basic lands will be available for your use.  You are encouraged to bring your own accessories, including playmats, sleeves, deck boxes, and your own lands as you see fit.

Minimum Number of Players: 8 (the event will be cancelled if this is not met by 24 hours prior)
