Date: weekly on Mondays (select a date above and either reserve a seat at the highlighted game or let us know to save you a seat if you're bringing your own by selecting "Bring a Game!")

Price: No charge to reserve a seat in advance; $5 per person Play Area Fee due at check in, applied to a Sanctum gift card according to our policy. If you attend with an advance reservation you will also receive 50 XP to your Loyalty Account!  For a no-charge online purchase, select "Pay at Pickup" at checkout to complete your reservation.  Do not select "Credit Card" at checkout.

Descriptions of Upcoming Highlighted Games:

Above and Below (April 7th): This is a mashup of town-building and storytelling where you and up to three friends compete to build the best village above and below ground. In the game, you send your villagers to perform jobs like exploring the cave, harvesting resources, and constructing houses. Each villager has unique skills and abilities, and you must decide how to best use them. A great cavern lies below the surface, ready for you to explore-- this is where the storytelling comes in, with a book of paragraphs to read and choose how your explorers will react. At the end of the game, the player with the most well-developed village wins!

Takenoko (April 14th): Immerse yourself in the delightful world of Takenoko, where you step into the role of gardeners tending to the Emperor's Giant Panda and cultivating a vibrant bamboo plantation. Face the whimsical challenges of a mischievous panda who can't resist munching on your precious bamboo! Can you strategically grow bamboo while keeping the panda's appetite in check?

River of Gold (April 21st): Embark on a captivating journey through the mystical realms of Rokugan as a merchant representing one of the illustrious clans. Invest in trade ports, markets, and shrines; build influence with manor houses; and deliver valuable contracts to amass wealth and rise above your rivals. With fast turns, multiple strategies, and a richly detailed world, River of Gold offers an enchanting experience where wealth and power await those who dare to seize them. Will you reign over the River of Gold?

Bonsai (April 28th): The Japanese term "bonsai" means "planted in a pot". A bonsai is a living work of art, a perfect miniature plant, identical in all respects to its full-size simile, but several times smaller. In Bonsai, players take on the role of expert bonsai masters intent on growing their own bonsai. Whoever grows the best plant will be appointed to show their Bonsai at the Imperial gardens. During the turn in which your bonsai matches or exceeds the requirements of a Goal tile that is still in play, you choose whether you want to claim that tile or if you want to renounce it in order to try to achieve a harder Goal tile. When the last card from the deck is revealed, the game end is triggered. Each tile in your bonsai is worth a certain number of points.
