Descriptions of Upcoming Highlighted Games:
Hadara (February 17th): Hadara carries you off into the world of cultures and countries of this earth. Over three epochs, you will experience the transformation of your new world from a small settlement to a high culture. You want to populate this world with people who come from different cultures and continents as well as different ages. To bring glory and honor to your world, you should choose the persons and accomplishments skillfully. But you should not ignore agriculture, culture, and military power, otherwise one of your competitors might get bigger and more successful than you. Who will succeed first in creating a new flourishing high culture?
Alhambra (February 24th): The world’s best architects are looking to demonstrate their skill. Employ the best teams of builders and make sure they always have the right currency they need. The player who builds the most valuable Alhambra will win the competition for the best palace.
Decrypto (March 3rd): In Decrypto, two teams of 2 to 4 players each compete against one another to see who the best codemasters are. Your goal is to transmit codes to your teammates without letting the opposing team intercept them. Therefore, your communications should be clear enough for your team to understand, but vague enough to confound your opponents. You are also attempting to intercept your opponents' codes. Your team wins the game if you collect 2 Interception tokens!
Mansions of Madness (March 10th): Get ready for horror and mystery with the cooperative game of Mansions of Madness! Let the immersive app guide you through the veiled streets of Innsmouth and the haunted corridors of Arkham's cursed mansions as you search for answers and respite. Play an investigator and stand ready to confront a scenario of fear and mystery, collecting weapons, tools, and information, solving complex puzzles, and fighting monsters, insanity, and death. Open the door and step inside these hair-raising Mansions of Madness Second Edition. It will take more than just survival to conquer the evils terrorizing this town. Note: Depending on the chosen scenario, this game may not finish by the end of the evening.
Meadow (March 17th): Meadow is a board game in which players take the role of wanderers watching nature. Equipped with a map, they stroll through the picturesque surroundings, looking for inspiration and capturing breathtaking views. Players are driven by passion and curiosity, but also by competition for the title of the keenest nature observer! It will be awarded to whoever scores the most points from the observed species of animals and plants, landscapes and souvenirs collected from the hike. Competition continues by the fire, where players compete in achieving the goals of their expeditions.
The Red Cathedral (March 24th): Tsar Ivan the terrible has ordered the construction of a cathedral in honor of his military victories. Many teams of builders will take part in the construction, but only one of them will stand out and gain the favor of the Tzar!
Camel Up (March 31st): In Camel Up, up to eight players bet on five racing camels, trying to suss out which ones will place first and second in a quick race around a pyramid. The earlier you place your bet, the more you can win — should you guess correctly, of course. Camels don't run neatly, however, sometimes landing on top of another one and being carried toward the finish line. Who's going to run when? That all depends on how the dice come out of the pyramid dice shaker, which releases one die at a time when players pause from their bets long enough to see who's actually moving!
