Descriptions of Highlighted Games:
Harmonies (November 25th): In Harmonies, you will create beautiful landscapes by placing colored tiles. These tiles will create territories for animals and will bring them in to settle in your tiny world! Tactically combine your landscapes and animals to earn the most victory points and win the game. Harmonies captivates with its innovative mechanics: 3D landscape creation, tile placement, and pattern development. Each decision impacts the ecosystem you create, offering a deep and satisfying gaming experience.
Through the Desert (December 2nd): Play this game of strategy, patience, and cool plastic camels! The desert is still treacherous, mysterious, and without mercy. But for those willing to risk the dangers of the shifting, sun-baked sands, the desert holds riches beyond compare. In Through the Desert, control a tribe of nomads vying for control of the desert. By establishing caravans and taking over oases, gain points as your tribe increases in power. Strategy is essential in deciding how and where to build your tribe's caravans. There are multiple ways to gain points and several ways to win. Should you try to build the longest caravan? Or should you dominate the desert's oases? Don't forget to keep an eye on your opponents' caravans, or you may find your own tribe cut off from valuable water holes.
Feed the Kraken (December 9th): This is a hidden role deduction game, with three asymmetric factions. All players may be sitting in the same boat, but they want to navigate in different directions! The loyal sailors must bring the ship safely to mainland, whereas the pirates crave to secretly maneuver the ship into the Bermuda Triangle. Meanwhile a crazy cultist is busy convincing parts of the crew to help him summon their dark lord —the Kraken— from the depth of the sea to save them all.
Cities (December 16th): City Hall has tasked you with a plan to renovate one of its iconic neighborhoods. Can you design the city’s next cool zone? With loads of components within reach, you will have an opportunity to create new residences and office buildings, parks and recreational spaces, and new water features. Cities challenges you to build out your neighborhood, scoring points according to how attractively and efficiently your city tiles are placed. Make your city a better place, it’s all in your hands!
Space Base (December 23rd): Space Base is a dice game where players draft ships into their Space Base. Every turn, no matter whose turn, players harvest rewards from their Space Base, whether those rewards are an increase in your baseline income, credits for the next turn, influence or some other powerful effect that will lead you to victory. Space Base has you involved and engaged on every player’s turn, from the first roll of the dice to the last!
Trick Taking Games (December 30th): Whether you're a newbie or a pro with trick taking games, you're welcome to join in for a variety of games on the eve of New Year's Eve! We will have a variety of games, both competitive and cooperative, such as The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine, available to play. Join in the fun!
